How to Register

All participants are encouraged to register online in advance of the conference.  Doing so will make check-in at the conference a quick and easy process. Online registration will remain open through the conference opening.   
 

Reserve your Hotel Accommodation NOW!

Onsite Registration

Onsite registration should be paid with CREDIT CARDS unless specific arrangements are made in advance.  Bank wire payment is also accepted for some organisations and institutions where required.  Wires must be made prior to the conference and may incur additional charges.


Academic Rates

To be eligible for the academic rate, you must be a faculty member or full-time student in an undergraduate, graduate or professional degree program.  A valid faculty ID, student ID or other proof of student/academic community status must be provided with your registration by emailing a scanned copy to conference@xbrl.org  or will be required at the time of registration check-in.


Filer Rates

This special rate was designed to encourage education and participation among leadership & employees of companies who are involved in internal or external reporting.  XBRL24 conference includes three days during the conference and pre-conference training to bring this education to filers.  Don't miss this opportunity to develop your "in house expert" !

Groups Rates

Group rates discounts of up to 20% off are available for groups of 5-10 ; 11-20; 21-30......  To find out about your group discount, please write to conference@xbrl.org.  Groups must submit all registrations in one  block during registration to qualify.


Cancellation Policy

Full refunds will be issued if cancellation requests are received by 22 February 2012. Refunds, less a €200 administrative fee, will be issued on written requests before 9 March 2012. Due to financial obligations incurred by XBRL International, no refunds will be issued on cancellation requests after 9 March 2012. Cancellation requests must be in writing via email.  “No shows” are not refundable and are liable for the full registration fee.  Your registration may be transferred to another colleague if you provide written authorization to conference@xbrl.org


Visas & Letters of Invitation

If you need to apply for a visa, please do so well in advance of your journey.  Conference participants requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the conference should contact conference@xbrl.org

Visitors needing visas could book their flight with Etihad Airways or Emirates Airlines and the airlines would handle the administration to obtain a visit VISA on behalf of the visitor. Also, both airlines provide complementary chauffeur from and to the airports of departure and arrival when traveling business class which could save money for the delegates.  (see list of countries for whom an advanced VISA is not necessary)

Please note this procedure aims to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the conference and is not an official invitation covering fees or other expenses.  A letter of invitation does not imply any financial support from the conference.
